My Journey

  • Indiana University (2013-2017)

I attended IU Bloomington from 2013-2017, earning a B.S. in Informatics (Human Computer Interaction/design) from the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.

  • NSWC Crane (2017-Present)

I began my professional career here as a design intern in 2017 and transitioned into a Senior UX Designer & Design Lead role in June 2018. In this position, I led UX research and design strategy for the Enterprise Applications team, driving measurable improvements in the usability and effectiveness of internal systems.

Beyond design execution, this role became a proving ground for leadership. I built alignment across cross-functional teams, introduced structured approaches to gathering and acting on user feedback, and played a key role in shaping how digital products were planned and delivered.

This experience laid the foundation for my recent transition into IT service design and delivery as an IT Service Designer — expanding my focus from improving individual interfaces to improving the performance, reliability, and overall experience of the services behind them.

  • OCS (2024-2026)

In January 2024 I started OCS to help small business owners enhance their digital presence. I develop strategy, build websites, and help owners build experiences that engage their customers in meaningful ways.
